While no where near as bad as this mishap, I suffered my first major production hiccup yesterday.
My latest microfilum – tentatively called i-Cons – mainly involves filming a lot of images of internet browsers on my computer screen.
So I set up the camera. Get the light just right, and what happens? My ISP decides to go down. Not just for a minute. Or even an hour. ALL DAY!
Still. Despite being very frustrating this did give me the opportunity to tweak the shooting script, and work up a few more ideas. So today when I shot the material it came out ten times better than if I’d shot it yesterday.
Moral of the story? Why do today what can be put off until tomorrow?
Hang on. Surely that can’t be right?
